Important note: This Privacy Policy currently uses the service name and support email as the main contact point. If needed, we may update this Policy later to include additional controller identification details.

This Privacy Policy applies to the resubldr.ai website and application, including account registration, resume and cover letter generation, resume analysis, AI completions, billing-related account features, and support communications.

It applies to personal data we collect directly from users, automatically through use of the service, and through trusted service providers that help us operate the service.

resubldr.ai is intended for job seekers, especially users preparing or improving resumes and cover letters for job applications in the IT industry and related fields.

4.4 Support content

If you contact support or submit an in-app ticket, we may collect:

  • any attached files, including JPG, PNG, or PDF files,
  • related account or technical context needed to respond.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details. We may store limited billing-related metadata such as:

  • Stripe customer ID,
  • subscription ID,
  • subscription status,
  • plan information,
  • renewal-related dates or billing state.

When you use the service, we may collect limited technical and usage data such as:

  • device and browser information,

8. AI features

resubldr.ai uses AI-powered features to help users generate and improve resumes and cover letters.

When you use AI features, we may send relevant content to our AI provider, including:

  • account or profile-related content relevant to the request,
  • resume and cover letter text,
  • uploaded resume text extracted from files,
  • job descriptions,
  • recruiter names or related input,
  • prompts,
  • instructions,
  • AI outputs and related context.

We use this data to provide the requested AI feature. We do not use user data to train our own models.

We may store AI-generated outputs in our own systems so they can be shown back to you, edited, reused, or supported within the product.

We may also access user content when reasonably necessary for support, troubleshooting, security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.

9. Service providers and data sharing

We may share personal data with service providers that help us operate resubldr.ai, including:

  • Google for authentication,
  • Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage,
  • Vercel for hosting and deployment,
  • Stripe for payment and subscription processing,
  • OpenAI for AI-powered features,
  • Cloudflare Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and Google Cloud / Google services where relevant to infrastructure or service operation.

We share only the data reasonably needed for the service provider to perform its function.

If you request account deletion, we generally aim to delete or de-identify your data after processing the request, typically within approximately 7 days, unless retention is necessary for:

  • legal claims,
  • fraud or abuse prevention,
  • compliance obligations,
  • billing-related recordkeeping.

We may keep limited residual information where reasonably necessary for these purposes.

GDPR principles include storage limitation, meaning data should not be kept longer than necessary for the stated purpose.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including measures related to access control, authentication, infrastructure security, and secure service operation.

However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Support and manual review

If you contact support or if it is reasonably necessary to maintain or secure the service, we may manually review relevant user content, including uploaded resumes, cover letters, job descriptions, generated outputs, and support attachments.

We do this only where reasonably necessary for:

  • support,
  • troubleshooting,
  • abuse prevention,
  • security,
  • legal compliance.

16. Business transfers

If resubldr.ai is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, financing, reorganisation, or similar transaction, personal data may be transferred as part of that process, subject to applicable law.

When we do, we will post the updated version on the website and update the “Effective Date” above. If required, we may provide additional notice.
