Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to resubldr.ai. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the resubldr.ai website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. About the Service

resubldr.ai is an AI-powered resume and job application tool. The Service allows users to create and manage profile information, generate resumes and cover letters, review resume quality, and use AI-powered completion and writing assistance features.

The Service is intended to help users prepare job application materials. It does not guarantee employment, interviews, responses from employers, or any specific result.

3. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction.

4. User Accounts

To use some parts of the Service, you may need to create an account.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate and current information,
  • keep your account access secure,
  • use the Service only for your own lawful purposes,
  • notify us if you believe your account has been used without authorization.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.

We currently offer sign-in through Google Sign-In.

5. User Content

You may submit, upload, store, or generate content through the Service, including:

  • profile information,
  • resumes,
  • cover letters,
  • job descriptions,
  • recruiter names,
  • uploaded PDF files,
  • support messages,
  • AI prompts,
  • AI-generated outputs.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, to the extent you own it.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, reproduce, modify, transmit, and display your content only as reasonably necessary to:

  • operate the Service,
  • provide the requested features,
  • generate outputs,
  • troubleshoot issues,
  • provide support,
  • protect the security and integrity of the Service,
  • enforce these Terms,
  • comply with legal obligations.

You represent that:

  • you have the rights needed to submit the content,
  • your content does not violate applicable law,
  • your content does not infringe the rights of others,
  • you have the right to provide any third-party data included in your submissions.

6. AI Features

The Service uses AI-powered features to generate, review, and improve resumes, cover letters, and related content.

By using AI features, you understand and agree that:

  • your input may be processed by third-party AI providers to provide the feature,
  • outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, generic, or unsuitable for your specific situation,
  • you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating any output before using it,
  • the Service does not provide legal, employment, immigration, financial, or professional advice,
  • AI-generated content should not be treated as guaranteed, factual, or final without your review.

You should not rely on the Service as a substitute for your own judgment.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful purposes,
  • upload malicious code, malware, or harmful files,
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service,
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts,
  • use bots, scraping, or automated methods to abuse the Service,
  • reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where allowed by law,
  • use the Service to generate deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, or illegal content,
  • impersonate another person or falsely claim affiliation,
  • submit content you do not have the right to use,
  • use the Service in a way that could damage the platform or other users,
  • circumvent plan limits, usage limits, or billing mechanisms.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or used the Service in a harmful, abusive, or fraudulent way.

8. Plans, Paid Features, and Billing

Some parts of the Service may be free, and some may require a paid subscription.

If you purchase a paid plan:

  • you agree to pay the fees shown at checkout,
  • pricing, billing intervals, and included usage limits will be shown before purchase,
  • subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled,
  • payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider we may use in the future,
  • we may store limited billing-related metadata such as plan status, renewal dates, and payment-provider identifiers.

You are responsible for reviewing the pricing and subscription terms presented at checkout before purchasing.

EU consumer rules require that consumers be clearly informed about the total price and key contract details before purchase.

9. Cancellations and Plan Changes

You may cancel your subscription through the billing method or account tools we make available.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout or in-product:

  • cancellation stops future renewals,
  • already-paid fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law,
  • access to paid features may continue until the end of the current billing period,
  • we may change plan features, limits, or pricing in the future, but changes will not be applied retroactively to completed billing periods unless required for legal, operational, or security reasons.

If we materially change pricing or subscription terms for future periods, we may provide notice on the website, in the app, or by email.

10. Usage Limits

Your plan may include feature limits, generation limits, review limits, or other usage caps.

If you reach a plan limit:

  • certain features may stop working until the limit resets,
  • you may be prompted to upgrade,
  • we are not required to provide additional usage outside your plan.

We may implement reasonable technical or operational limits to protect the Service, prevent abuse, and maintain quality.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, branding, design, interface, text, graphics, and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to resubldr.ai and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not give you ownership of the Service itself.

You may use the Service only as permitted by these Terms.

12. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, recommendations, or feedback about the Service, you agree that we may use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and process personal data.

14. Availability and Changes to the Service

We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

We do not guarantee that:

  • the Service will always be available,
  • the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free,
  • every feature will remain available permanently,
  • all generated content will be preserved forever.

We may perform maintenance, security updates, or infrastructure changes without prior notice where reasonably necessary.

15. Support

We may offer support by email or through in-app channels, but we do not guarantee any specific response time, resolution time, or support availability level unless we explicitly say otherwise.

16. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability.

In particular, we do not warrant that:

  • the Service will meet your expectations,
  • generated content will be accurate or complete,
  • the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free,
  • use of the Service will result in interviews, offers, or employment,
  • the Service will be compatible with all third-party systems, recruiters, or ATS tools.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages,
  • we are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost business, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or interruption of business,
  • we are not liable for decisions you make based on AI-generated or AI-reviewed content,

18. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless resubldr.ai from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of:

  • your misuse of the Service,
  • your violation of these Terms,
  • your violation of applicable law,
  • your infringement of any third-party rights,
  • content you submit through the Service.

This section does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable consumer law.

19. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

  • you violate these Terms,
  • you misuse the Service,
  • your use creates legal, security, or operational risk,
  • we are required to do so by law,
  • your payment fails and access depends on an active paid subscription.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

Termination does not affect provisions of these Terms that by nature should survive termination, including provisions on intellectual property, liability, disclaimers, disputes, payments already owed, and acceptable use restrictions.

20. Deletion of Accounts and Content

You may request deletion of your account by contacting support@resubldr.ai.

We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for:

  • legal compliance,
  • security,
  • fraud prevention,
  • dispute resolution,
  • enforcement of these Terms,
  • billing and recordkeeping.

21. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on or integrate with third-party services, including Google, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, and OpenAI.

We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, or policies. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.

22. Business Transfers

If resubldr.ai is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, restructuring, or similar transaction, your information and contractual relationship may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may provide notice by posting the updated Terms on the website, in the application, or through another reasonable method.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.

24. Disputes

If you have a dispute or complaint, please contact us first at support@resubldr.ai and we will try to resolve it informally.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
